I am proud to be African, I wouldn’t want to be anything else. To be an African millennial in this era is a blessing! We’re breaking down barriers and creating our mark, while bringing awareness to important African issues. When it comes to being a young influencer, I am on a mission to let everyone know that it is okay to be you. Growing up within the African community, we tend to live based off of our parent’s/relative’s “dreams and aspirations” and put our dreams second and/or last. I want to encourage you to follow your dreams. Live for you and for what you love. Don’t live up to anyone’s standards but your own! My advice is: invest in YOURSELF, there is no better investment. Visualize your highest self and start showing up as him/her!”
